How will home delivery work?
We will be delivering to homes in eligible zipcodes one Saturday a month in the Missoula and Helena areas, after delivering to pickup locations there. Your order will be packed in boxes, and it will be frozen. However, the boxes will not be insulated, or have cold packs. (We would like to cut down on waste and keep prices down) So, either plan to be home to receive your order, or leave us directions when you order for where to leave the beef. For example, you can leave a cooler on your porch for us to leave the beef in. If that’s what you’d like to do, make sure there is enough cooler space for the beef you ordered. In the future we hope to be able to offer an ETA on when your specific order will be delivered, but to start we’ll be learning along with you, so please bear with us!
How do I order for Home Delivery?
Go to our online store (click on the “shop” button on our home page, or go directly to our online store here: online store
Make sure your preferred pickup option is unchecked at the top of the screen.
Choose a product, and add it to your cart.
Select “Delivery options” if you’d like to order for home delivery. (there is also a “pickup options” button)
Enter your zipcode. It will either say “no delivery” to your zipcode, or display the delivery option in your area.
Select your delivery date.
Add more products to your cart, or complete checkout.
Important! At checkout, Enter Delivery Instructions. The beef will not be delivered in its own insulated box, and won’t have dry ice or other coolants. You either need to be home to receive your order, or leave us directions on where to leave it. (For example, you could leave a cooler on your porch and request that we leave your beef in the cooler)
Am I eligible for home delivery?
For the most part, we want to offer delivery to anyone in Missoula, Helena, or the immediate surrounding areas. We would also like to offer it to people living close to the road on the way out from Helmville, and the way back. One problem may be that zipcodes are currently our only way to control who is able to order for home delivery on our website, and Montana zipcodes can be pretty large. If you live far from the beaten path, (say a 20 or 30 minute drive one way from town or the road), we’d appreciate you checking in about delivery.
